Gallery of Models by Paul K. Johnson

These pages discuss some of the many "toys" I have built in over 35 years of model building.

Each image below links to an article containing additional images and information about the model. Most models have a photo gallery and some have a video gallery.

Back in the day I didn't have a camera so I don't have photos of tons of models I've built. If I have any photos of those models at all then they were taken by someone else who gave me a print.

These kits were not provided to me for review purposes. I believe that a reviewer should attempt to build the kit strictly per the plan and instructions in order to properly present a review. I almost always make multiple modifications to kits I build and do not claim to build kits to the manufacturer's intent.

Scale Display Models

Several of these plastic models have photo galleries that are obviously photoshopped. The reason for that wasn't to deceive anyone but because undeveloped film I had went through airport X-rays and had random lightning streaks through them so I did the best I could with my limited photo-editing skills to "fix" them. Those photos include the Tamiya Corsair, Academy Bradley and Monogram Helldiver. Maybe some others. Photos for the Vader's Tie Fighter were photoshopped on purpose for dramatic effect.
