Design and Build Contest
This contest was announced on June 18, 2006. The deadline for entries was June 30, 2007. Judging was
completed on July 31, 2007.
Twenty people signed up to participate throughout the period the contest was active. Five complete entries were
submitted.
This was the first contest I sponsored so I had no idea how it would turn out. I expected that several
people would drop out and several did. At one point it looked like there was only going to be one entrant to
complete the contest.
Then in the last week before the deadline several submissions came in. This year the number of complete
submissions equals the number of prizes so everyone is a winner and no prize is left behind.
